The sound of the soul screaming, I wondered where that sound came from and learned that the makers back then used practical animal sounds, in this instance, screaming chimpanzees. It’s a horrible horrible sound. I don’t even want to know way back then what they were doing to these chimpanzees to make them scream like this. I found this movie quite disturbing just because of the sound.
