[[ Possible S P O I L E R BELOW]] Nothing happens to the dogs but the scenes with them can definitely give you anxiety if you're nervous about something happening to dogs especially because they show the kid looking at the dogs as he was getting possessed, they're barking, and he grabbed a knife... luckily he just murders the drunk guy! 😓. Good call because if he had done anything to the dogs it definitely would've ruined the movie for me. I applaud that they didn't decide to go that route. 👍👏. Although I'm still sad about the dog in the first Conjuring movie. I had double checked on here beforehand but there wasn't any comments explaining in detail and unfortunately I've run into a few "No"'s that turned out to be "Yes" so just wanted to clarify. Also the dogs are briefly seen in small kennels clearly not big enough for them to be comfortable in but it fits the drunks backstory of not being able to properly run a dog boarding business.

Not on screen, but we see ritual items made of dead rats and small animal bones.

Dogs are kept in cages at boarding kennels, the cages are a bit small. No abuse towards the dogs, they're kept safe.

Not overtly but there is an alcoholic getting drunk at the beginning.

Arne cuts his wrists but survives. There are many times it is being described as stabbing but it doesn’t show the 2nd time but the first time it shows Arne stab the drunk boss 22 times

Arguably multiple people are mentally tortured by the demon possessing them.

No, but in one scene a knife is held very close to an eye, as if it is going to be mutilated.

Several scenes of entire body cracking and contorting, fingers bending and snapping. At one point the little boy while possessed by the demon leaves huge claw marks on the walls despite his hands being inches away (implied demon claws coming out of his hands)

Arguably Lorraine and the Satanist stalk each other through visions (clairvoyant connection)

Throughout the whole movie. But you can definitely see them coming.

some foam comes out of the boy’s mouth at the beginning of the movie, but it’s not too much, there are also some parts where some characters are drunk and it seems that one of them could vomit but nothing happens

A character is placed in a suicide watch hold in a prison, and other prison scenes don’t look terribly different from asylum scenes from other movies

It’s not quite body dysmorphia but the demon/satanist can force people to see things which aren’t really there, including images of themselves. While there’s no focus on body image, the idea of seeing yourself in manipulated, inaccurate form may be triggering

The scene in the shower, and the scene under the house, were pretty claustrophobic.

You see a character start to cut his wrist before the camera cuts away (you do see the wound immediately after and a guard yells “we have a cutter”) and later the same character is seen cutting his own neck

Not exactly but a kid almost drowns due to his waterbed being haunted so he almost gets sucked in when the waterbed turns into water.

not gratuitous but it is there. the worst scene is early on when David is hiding in a bathtub; the faucet is turned on and the whole tub is sprayed with blood
