40 years in the future, space captain Ryan Clark and the crew of the luxury space cruise ship Avenue 5 navigate disgruntled passengers and unexpected events after experiencing technical difficulties onboard.
This tv show contains 7 potentially triggering events.
While the dog from the 1st season is seen only a couple times, nothing apparently happens to it. However, Season 2, Episode 4, a woman's horrible r*pe and killing of her beagles is mentioned. It's not graphically detailed or shown, but it IS said.
The woman is only in one episode and is not one of the passengers on Avenue 5.
A girl adds her live rabbit to the pile that is going to be forcibly ejected out of the airlock. That is the only scene that shows the rabbit, and its death is not onscreen; however, no one stops the brat from doing this (her mother is even with her), and later on in the season, the airlock ejection happens. It can be inferred that the rabbit is ejected into space.
The earlier "no" was maybe before this actually happened. Frank absolutely gaslighted his wife, telling her that people hated her and wanted to kill her for something she did, so she isolated herself in their cabin for 6 MONTHS before finding out that her husband was straight-up lying to her so that he didn't have to deal with her assertive personality around other people. This was about the finale of Season 1 and then into Season 2.
Nothing onscreen. In this episode, a man is identified as a pedo. He is only in this episode and not one of the passengers. He doesn't abuse anyone; it's his past that is mentioned.
Eels are dying in the tanks. It is not shown, only talked about several times.
The rabbit being ejected out into space (not shown onscreen) would also have died.
I'm saying yes to this one. In Season 1, adding the rabbit to the items being ejected from the airlock is cruel, along with it being in a tiny cage to begin with. A dog in Season 1, while not actually abused, is tossed around with the people when the gravity shifts. In Season 2, it is talked about how a woman (not one of the passengers and in only Episode 4) r*ped and killed her beagles.
No, but S2E3 has a convicted pedophile character and there are a lot of jokes about the moral quandry of needing his help to repair the ship. S2E5 has a rape threat. S2E6 has an “asking for it” joke.
The "no" reactions were before this occurred. Cannibalism is not seen on screen; however, a man is discovered to be a cannibal, and cannibalism is talked about quite a lot in the episode. He is only in that episode and not one of the passengers.
Limbs on corpses in space detach from the bodies. A person frozen by the vacuum of space has their hand detach from their body as they fall backwards and float off.
not necessarily squashed, more like in the air chamber space thing when the people get a little too curious the some that escaped are shown with their heads practically exploding
Technically, the couple is separated at the time. But they also talk about past cheating when they were a couple, which presumably led to the separation. The woman flaunts her flings to upset her husband.
rarely but might as well list the mentions also: s1 ep2 using b* bag as a metaphor, s1 ep5 mention of t* u* twice and at 27 minutes a guy on a video cam from a phone is shown v* from a distance so besides blue liquid the audio wasnt bad at all pretty dramatic, nothing for season 2 overall i think karen mentioned it once but i cant remember the episode
there are a few mentions like people making jokes abt watching their weight but nobody states they dislike themselves specifically because their weight
The woman is only in one episode and is not one of the passengers on Avenue 5.
