Well, the little box Charles keeps his snake in while they're on the cruise seems like it's probably too small for the creature.

The whole movie is based around Jean deceiving and conning Charles. It crosses into gaslighting at least by the second half, where she disguises herself as Eve and, although he recognizes her, she convinces him that he's in the wrong and she's not the same person. Played for laughs.

There's a fair amount of drinking, but it doesn't seem to be to excess. One character orders a drink in the morning, after a nasty shock; the inappropriateness of the hour for drinking is commented on.

Charles collects snakes, which have a tendency to escape from their boxes. We see a few of them, including one wrapped around an unsuspecting person's ankle.
