Yes. I'm sensitive to flashing lights. My take was I was able to watch it but had to avert my eyes a number of times. There weren't any literal strobes, but there were clips from the Nightmare movies with flashing lights and also the very quick cuts of scenes montaged together can also create a strong flickering effect on several occasions.

Basically, yes. Basically, Mark Patton was bullied horrifically for being "like a girl" and in the movie he confronts the screenwriter for the movie who tells him that he made the movie gay for "screaming like a girl". Also, I discovered for the first time that the puzzling number of women in the "gay S&M bar scene" were supposed to be trans women were supposed to be "transvestites" (which I never knew as they were played by cis women. I had thought that they were just afraid to have too many men in the gay bar because "that would be too gay", but instead they were just using cis women because trans women would have been "too trans").
