Synopsis

The gun is never fired, but at one point a colleague threatens to shoot the main character with a revolver. He backs down and treats it like a joke, but later in the film it's discovered that the conversation hurt him very badly, and the main character tells him to give up the gun (worried he might hurt himself on purpose) and the view changes to show that the chambers were all empty once the gun is confiscated
