A mysterious global blackout yields countless populations to simply vanish, leaving only their clothes and possessions behind. A small handful of survivors band together in a dimly-lit tavern on 7th Street, struggling to combat the apocalyptic horror. Realizing they may in fact be the last people on earth, a dark shadow hones in on them alone.
A mother searches for her missing baby and grieves at the sight of car seats and baby clothes. Empty cradles with child’s clothing are seen, and creepy, disembodied child’s laughter is heard multiple times throughout.
I don’t know why people are saying no. The whole premise of the movie is humans suddenly disappearing. One of the characters had a bird in a cage. Multiple dogs barking, so clearly the pets aren’t being taken. If they are trapped in cages, buildings, etc. then they will likely starve to death…
A character falls and injured their leg and is later seen stabilizing it with duct tape. They struggle to walk on it and cry out in pain throughout the film.
A character enters the office of his love interest and the audience sees a picture of her with her husband and child on display. We later find out that that character was also married.
At multiple points throughout the film lights suddenly flash on or off, characters yell, objects crash or break or other things happen with no warning.
