Follow the heroic adventures of the Skylanders team, a group of heroes with unique elemental skills and personalities who travel the vast Skylands universe, protecting it from evil-doers and showing the next wave of Academy cadets how to do things the “Skylander way.”
There is no physical Child abuse, However, in Season 1 - Mid Season 2, Kaossandra is dismissive of Kaos, belittles and bullies him. Kaos's Father (Eon) is also absent. His Uncle, Strykore, takes advantage of this and manipulates Kaos.
This might be upsetting to those affected by Emotional/Manipulative abuse and Absent/Neglectful parents. Koas's age is not confirmed, however he is implied to be Young. Kaos is possibly a Young Adult, but I would be cautious due to the fact his parents are still Neglectful.
Kaossandra changes during Season 3, however Eon remains dismissive.
Domestic Violence is not portrayed; However there is a running gag of a failed marriage- Claire & Gary- where the running joke is that Gary messes up repeatedly leading to Claire instigating arguments.
This might be upsetting as it implies/portrays unhealthy or abusive relationships.
Theirs many moments through the show where kaos the main villain and other bad guys are dressed feminine and it’s played up for laughs and it’s just straight up rude to anyone who wants to be feminine and is a trans women or feminine male in some way
It's implied that Master Eon has neglected to raise Kaos; Kaos was also unaware of who his Father was. In Season 3 Master Eon refuses to help Kaos, and does not believe he can be good- He does not raise or act Fatherly towards Kaos.
Stealth Elf is revealed as an Orphan, and Spyro is shown born to no parents. These two were not abandoned (Or not confirmed)
This still might be upsetting to some.
There is no Dragon death on screen; however in Season 2 it's implied that Spyro's family is extinct. It is revealed they are not by Season 3.
This does cause Spyro distress/upset and might be upsetting.
In the Season 1 episode 'Space Invaders' Eon vows to shave his beard in honour of Stealth Elf; he does not do this, but it's mentioned and he does mention Razors.
The mention of Razors might be upsetting to some.
In the background, Kaos has a Mobile of the Skylanders being hung. This is strangely 'realistic' and disturbing; It is seen close up on few occasions.
This might be triggering to some. This could be upsetting to small children.
In the Season 3 episode 'Split' Dark Spyro is restrained. He is tied to his bed in order to protect others and himself.
This might be upsetting to some.
In Season 2, Episode 10 'Who's your Daddy?' Jet-vac accidentally takes home an egg that wasn't his, hatching a Greeble baby.
Despite being a mistake, this might be upsetting to some.
During the events of Season 3, Dark Spyro is stalked by Strykore. Strykore keeps notice of Spyro's every move, and tells him directly he knows everything.
This may be upsetting to someone affected by a controlling relationship, paranoia or stalking.
No, however the character Spyro is quite frequently put down for having low moods- often by his Female friend Stealth Elf.
Some might find this invalidating or upsetting.
Kidnapping happens a few times in the series;
There is a kidnapping at least once in each Season; Eruptor and Kaossandra are Kidnapped and forced into an Illegal fight ring in Season 3. Spyro is kidnapped for a sacrifice in Season 1. Popfizz is also kidnapped for sacrifice in Season 3. KingPen is kidnapped and tortured in Season 3-
I will be missing some events I am sure, but be cautious as it is a common theme.
At the end of Season 3, Mastor Eon is implied as dead shortly after confirming to Kaos his parental status; He is also Spyro's foster parent.
Eon is revealed to be alive, but this is not to revealed to the characters except Spyro- His passing is still acknowledged by the others.
In the Season 3 Episode 'Road Rage', Kaossandra crashes the SuperCharger (Car). No one is injured badly.
This is referenced through out the episode, and many triggering buzzwords/terms are used. The episode name might also be distressing to some.
Not sure of episodes but Eruptor does it a few times - mainly when the Skylanders are being asked to show their special powers to an inspector. He then says he does it when he’s nervous but then does it again and says he does it when other people get nervous. Very graphic noises.
At the Thankstaking meal, the Doomraiders all vomit/ spit out a Cassolet made by Khaos, who then does the same when he tries it.
Stealth Elf gets airsick on the airship and keeps throwing up over the side. Audio only and not too bad as it just sounds like coughing.
