In the pilot episode a man is having sex with 2 women, you see his ass but not their boobs. In another scene there are naked porn stars filming a movie.
It is implied that the father left his child/family during the first or 2nd episode, when an adult man (20-something) sees his father walking alone at night.
I stopped watching after the sexual assault in s1 ep 3 so I don’t know for sure if the father abandoned the child or if he left the child/family for another reason such as mental illness, etc.
A black person does die first but it’s not a scenario where there are a bunch of white people around and the black person gets killed first. There is a lot of POC representation in this show.
During the 2nd or 3rd episode of the first season, two gay men are being watched from outside their home by a man that is there to kill them.

The men does not kill either of them.
There is blood in the pilot episode when a person ODs from cocaine. There is another scene where someone is beat up and robbed. There is another scene where a person gets bloody after being beat up and tortured.
This is a show about (selling) drugs so there are guns being pulled on folks when they first meet each other, when a person is robbed, and while someone is being tortured. There are a few scenes where someone is hit/beat with a gun. A person is also shot (while wearing a Kevlar vest).

First few minutes, in the jungle encampment, show dog remains.
