Seven children and their mother are locked in a small apartment and isolated from the rest of the world for the majority of their lives. They are incredibly resilient and seem to be flourishing given the circumstances but they’re obviously emotionally damaged

One of the brothers says it because he has heard it in movies. They’re so isolated that they don’t understand racism and so some of their behaviour comes across as racist. This definitely isn’t malicious though

From the premise one might assume that there is, but there’s absolutely no incest in this documentary. The brothers all have remarkably healthy relationships with each other given their upbringing, and although the father is physically and mentally abusive no sexual abuse is mentioned

Remarkably for a film about six isolated teenage boys, there is no sexual content. All conversations about relationships are very chaste and innocent
