No animal abuse is shown on screen. Craig’s father talks in detail about how he enjoys being a dog catcher so that he can choke dogs and punch them. It’s pretty over-the-top and exaggerated for humor, so it doesn’t come across as a very believable story. Still, I wouldn’t blame anyone for skipping the scene, especially when it doesn’t really have anything to do with the rest of the film’s storyline.
