This movie uses real animals, but the animals in the movie recieve plenty of food and water and are able to rest in between takes. The horses are trained to be ridden and pull carriages and the actors are stunt horse riders. Emma Watson, who plays Belle, has a lot of experience riding horses too. The wolves in the woods are CGI and not real wolves. No animals were harmed in the making of this movie.
