The movie is practically one big marijuana trip. I mean, you can pretty much smoke the screen... There are people smoking the biggest joints I've ever seen, big clouds of smoke, an actual barrel full of weed, a Christmas tree made out of weed. People almost worshipping the drug. Plus dealing.

YES, there's a snake. It almost just a glimpse, but it's there during something like a montage. It's a yellow one (a constrictor, I think) with a circumference approximately that of an average adult forearm, and it's draped around Moondog's neck/shoulders while he's playing a drum aboard a boat.

A woman has an affair with her and her husband's mutual close friend. The husband finds out (sees them kissing passionately and comes to the right conclusion) and doesn't like it, but he accepts it, doesn't get angry, and stays friends with the man, even listening for a little while to the friend go on about how great the sex was. It turns out the husband was already suspecting it before finding out. By the way, the wife is truly in love with her husband and shows it abundantly in all sorts of ways, and they have a great life (and sex life) together when he's around, but he's often away for very long stretches of time just because he feels like it, so she's sort of "unnecessarily" neglected. Oh, and he cheats on her as well! - all over the place and with total strangers - and seems to feel no guilt about it.
