Dash is found dead by Victoria towards the end of Season 2 Episode 3. Earlier in the episode (possibly the episode before, I can't quite remember) he is described as having a dry nose and not wanting to play as much. Dash's body is shown on screen, but it is clearly Dash's actor doing a really good job of lying still. Victoria is understandably very upset and cries over his body. He was old and died of natural causes.
