Sort of. A step-father abandons a step-son.
Spoiler:
It's mentioned that Robin's anger towards his father being with another woman after his mother's death is what drove his father to abandon that relationship. This woman had a son who he basically abandoned as well. Turns out this boy was Will Scarlett and this fuels Will's hatred of Robin.

I’m not sure what the person that voted yes is referencing. Children, along with the rest of their families, are starved and forced into the woods but it is clearly meant as an abuse of power against the people and not child abuse.

No abuse in the traditional sense but there are many farm animals that are there only to be slaughtered and an injured horse is forced to carry its rider further than it should.

You don't see them killed, but there are 3 dead rabbits hanging from the back of the wagon during the scene where they make Friar Tuck pull the wagon instead of the horse. Blink and you'll miss it.

The Sheriff and his witch discuss "taking" Marian. This is a euphamism for raping her in an effort to impregnate her so she can produce an heir.

The Sheriff's cousin says to Marian that she's fortunate that Robin and Azeem, who she refers to as thieves, didn't "steal her virtue" along with as her horses.

The Sheriff is a bully who belittles, beats up, and kills anyone who fails him or just annoys him.

It's mentioned by several characters that Robin was previously a bully and spoiled brat prior to joining the Crusades.

A hand is chopped off during the beginning scene of the movie. You don't see it directly. You see the hand strapped down, the sword coming down, and the face of the man screaming in pain.

Robin intentionally slices the palm of his hand with a knife over the grave of his father as he vows to avenge his death.

Robin shoots an arrow through Will Scarlett's hand. You see the arrow sticking out both sides and then he runs off.

Not really, but some people might not like the irregular, but repetitious pattern of a long, rock wall that is featured early in the film at about the 18min mark. It features in a very extended scene. And inside the castles there are stone floors and walls.

Lots of jewels and coins are stolen, but nothing destroyed.

An entire castle is burned, but no particular artifacts are seen destroyed.

A statue of the Sheriff is defaced and then later used to bash in a door, but it's not a priceless artifact, just a vanity piece he had done in honor of himself.

A female character (Fanny) goes into a difficult and very painful labor because "the baby has not turned". Azeem says the baby can't be born without help and asks for items such as a needle, thread, water, etc. You don't see what he does, but you hear Fanny screaming inside the tent. Then the baby is held up and is crying and appears healthy. Fanny also appears to be fine.

The two main characters that could be classified as fat (though neither one is very large- just larger than the people around them) are both played for jokes. One is an alcoholic who is always after a drink and the other is a woman. Any time she behaves as if someone may be attracted to her people seem uncomfortable and even awkwardly laugh. When it’s revealed that she was lying about her identity everyone is relieved that the real character is more conventionally pretty and skinny. Another woman that may be considered fat is often dismissed but that is more because she is a woman than because she is fat.

Azeem is initially thought of as a ruthless and primitive barbarian, but he is shown throughout the movie to be intelligent, caring, and cunning. Though he always remains Robin's sidekick and acts somewhat as his servant out of debt for Robin saving his life in Jerusalem.

There are rumors spread by the Sheriff and others that Robin's father worshipped the devil, in part because he criticized the forceful spread of Christianity via the Crusades.

There are several extended scenes that take place in a church with an accompanying Catholic-style church service and typical acts of worship.

There is a lot of religious (mostly Christian) symbolism throughout the movie. Crucifixes, rosaries, eucharist, vestments, etc. There's also a brief shot of the Islamic Cresent above Azeem's hut. He is also seen praying to Mecca, refers to Allah on several occasions, and greets a young child with a salaam salutation.

Azeem repeatedly refers to Robin as "Christian" as if it's his name instead of just his religion.

Those considered outlaws live in the forest in make-shift huts.

The Sheriff's men burn down a village and the now homeless people go to live in the forest as well.

Nothing nuclear. This movie takes place in the middle ages. There are a couple large explosions involving barrels of black powder and flaming arrows.
