Robin/Dick Grayson is confirmed to be roughly 16 in one episode and he constantly gets kidnapped and put in mortal peril by the bad guys. Nothing graphic though

Batman and Robin are constantly being captured and restrained in ridiculous ways (usually involving some contraption that is supposed to kill them). They always escape at the beginning of the next episode.

Even if it’s campy as hell it’s still Batman, albeit his parents have been long dead off-screen. We’re never actually shown it

Hell Batman and Robin aren’t even vigilantes in this continuity, they’re actually licensed crimefighters by the police. Either way definitely a product of 1960’s conservative attitudes regarding the police

There’s an episode where the police try to commit Bruce Wayne to a mental hospital ,but we don’t actually see it since he evades that. Trigger warning for medical restraints though since they at least get as far as a straitjacket

Not to the extremes of future media ,but mental illness is sometimes scapegoated for criminal activity albeit it’s rarely violent crimes like murder more like theft and general mischief
