Not having enough oxygen is a commonly discussed worry on the ship. A man goes through his oxygen quickly while repairing the outside of the ship in a space suit. He slows and calms his breathing. When O2 runs low, two crewmates get into a fight and start breathing heavily. They are told to avoid excessive activity to preserve the oxygen. A man holds his breath while underwater in a vat of coolant repairing the ship. He is not at a risk of drowning during any of the scenes he is underwater. A man floats out to space and dies, he is seen trying to take a breath and air escapes his mouth.

Every scene that shows him has the scene very blurry and choppy as part of the cinematography. He appears to be nude, but there are no visible markers and the blurriness of the scenes makes it hard to determine. A vague skin tone is able to be made out, and the outline of a person, but there is no genitalia, no butt, or even really any chest detail. It is likely a costume worn by the actor, no real skin.
