In Broadway hotspot Sardi's restaurant in 1943, ailing musical theater songwriter Lorenz Hart attempts to save face while celebrating his former partner Richard Rodgers' success on the opening night of his hit musical "Oklahoma!", which has paired him with a new writing partner, Oscar Hammerstein.
