First, the dog disappears for a bit, and they search for it. Then it reappears and is fine.

However at 49 minutes they see it dead from far away in the garage - then the camera approaches it and the owners (and we) see it full frame - close-up - before they flee.

Not sure exactly what it looked like, as we skipped a few seconds to avoid it - but it didn't look pleasant.

Arguably, a puppy is disciplined for being a puppy. Nothing extreme.

Many birds fall from the sky dead. Some of the birds also attack/eat each other.

A character describes a flashback/hallucination of a sexual assault. She doesn't describe the assault itself in detail, but describes the buildup to it.

This might be a grey area but a character grabs a 2 month old puppy and shouts angrily at it. I found it pretty unacceptable tbh, as there isn't any way that wouldn't have been frightening for a tiny pup.

Brief close-up shots of a dead dog and long shots of many dead birds.
