After being resurrected by a sinister entity, Art the Clown returns to Miles County where he must hunt down and destroy a teenage girl and her younger brother on Halloween night. As the body count rises, the siblings fight to stay alive while uncovering the true nature of Art's evil intent.
This movie contains 93 potentially triggering events.
Not a dog but a possum. Around 35:30, it's a very clear fake possum but they open it up and play with it's insides. Gross. Honestly just skip the whole movie, it's just bad.
not gaslighting, but there is no section for this and this is a really important thing to point out: major trigger warning for unreality. a lot of times it's uncertain if characters are imagining, dreaming, or hallucinating things
No, but Art does have a fairly lengthy scene where he lashes two minors with metal chains (either regular chains, barbed wire, or something else similar— I didn't feel comfortable looking). People who may have triggers for belts used in punishment might react similarly to this force being used against children. (Ages 12 and I think 17/18?)
Sienna’s mother drinking wine and assumed underage drinking from Sienna and Brooke (we never know their ages but I’m assuming high school/early college)
There is a dead possum that is tampered with by two boys after they found it already dead. It’s technically not abuse as its already dead but its still upsetting. The dead possum is also played with by Art the Clown and the Little Pale Girl, they rip its innards out and they play with them.
While no one is sexually assaulted, there is a scene where two characters are about to hook up in a car. One of them is buzzed and previously took some MDMA, and both do a bit of cocaine. No actual sex happens though. I'm just including this as the combination of drugs and sex can be triggering to some. Also, while not sexual assault, there is male genital mutilation shortly after this scene
very graphic, (warning for description->) a characters hand is ripped in half and another character gets repeatedly stabbed by broken glass in her hand
Someone has a nightmare when Art pulls out a flamethrower and sets a group of children (ages vary, think two are teens) on fire with it. Shots of bodies on fire
Yes. Many times, including a woman’s arm pulled apart and then cut off, a penis ripped off, and at least 5 decapitations (possibly more, but many heads roll)
**SPOILER** Not a major spoiler,I assume with this movie there might be more broken bones but I can’t remember. But this is one scene that really just got to me. It was the broken knee cap scene.
sienna convulses near the end when shes in the water tank. it’s not sharp, tight convulsions usually associated with seizures but might still be triggering to some!
A friend Allie’s arm is split down the center, beginning between her ring and middle finger. Art also chews on Jonathan’s hand and on his Achilles’ heel.
I can’t even describe the torture in this movie completely because it would take so long, not to mention it is so nasty it might get taken down. Everyone who is tortured is later killed.
Instances include vinegar, then salt being poured over a women who has been sliced all over her body, someone is scalped, acid tossed in someone’s face, and a badly mutilated victim who is so brutally tortured and attacked she appears dead, but turns out not to be. The killer in this movie is a sadist
PLENTY. This includes (but not limited to) a broken beer bottle in the eyes, a man’s dead body has his eyes pulled out, someone who comes back to life after being shot in the face is missing an eye, and he touches the socket several times, and a woman is slashed across her face and it graphically splits her open eye down the middle.
100%. The movie is so gory and brutal that they did not even bother submitting it for an R-rating. It is unrated. If you don’t like gore, this is the absolute last movie you should see. For what it’s worth, I have a strong stomach for horror gore, but one scene is particular was so, so graphic it shocked me, which is rare.
It is mentioned that a young girl was found mutilated. This is offscreen. Also the “kids” in the dream sequence were NOT kids except for the little cereal kid and its not clear if he died or not. Most of the deaths are of minors, with the exception of a few, however all the minors are older teens.
no but there is a disfigured minor character (she's from the first movie, but appears a few times in this one too) played by someone who is not disfigured.
Many characters will gurgle/spit up blood as they die, though I’m not too sure if that counts. What definitely does count however is toward the end, Sienna spits blood into Art the clown’s face. After he tosses her down, he spits regular saliva back and onto her body.
Absolutely. It makes the gore scenes even more graphic and horrifying. Sounds of faces being mutilated, bones breaking, brains ripped out, skin sizzling with acid, ribcages pulled open, a really gross scene in the mid-credits I can’t describe, parts of bodies squished… you get the idea
Only at the very end where Victoria winds up. It’s a mid-credits scene that is most likely used to set up a sequel so it is skippable if this is too triggering.
no but in the mid credits scene there is a lot of genital-area blood which is visually similar. i think it's meant to invoke childbirth more than menstruation but might be triggering for those with issues with menstruation anyway
The main one is when a creepy clown-girl mutilates her own face (her back is to us, but there’s audio gore) and she turns to reveal she has badly mutilated her own face (in the end result, her mutilated face lookssimilar to Victoria’s)
Art the Clown is presumably mentally ill, Victoria is severely traumatized and acts violently, and there are brief mentions of Sienna and Jonathan’s father having dealt with mental illness and abusive tendencies before passing.

At the end of the movie Victoria gives birth to a decapitated Art the Clown head, though it can move and emote. Its a gruesome scene as she is pulling out general gore beforehand and is bleeding profusely.
Not directly, but at the beginning of the film Jonathan shares a gruesome fact about the Holocaust at the dinner table. The comment is meant to show that it seems he is interested in death/serial killers/the macabre to a concerning degree. Like I said, not direct antisemitism, but it definitely catches you off guard if you aren’t expecting it.
A character writes some hateful and very, very bad things to call a woman (you can figure it out) on the wall in her own blood. No one says them, though
SPOILERS. . . . While both Sienna and Jonathan survive, their parents and none of Sienna’s friends do. It is bittersweet, they have triumphed in the end and live but have lost so much.

Sienna is trapped in a glass box full of water and drowns. She seems to die but is resurrected, though it is still a pretty rough drowning scene.
This is one of the bloodiest, goriest movies I’ve ever seen. There is a reason it is unrated. Only see this movie if you want to see oceans of gore, it’s not recommended for any viewers who are gorehounds.
In a dream sequence Art the Clown guns down a crowd of people with some sort of automatic gun. He also later shoots a real person with what I assume is a sawed off shotgun— not too familiar with gun types. The same gun is also used later to shoot Art.
