Jed, an airline pilot, is resting in a hotel when he notices Nell, a young woman babysitting for a wealthy couple. As Jed gets to know Nell better he realises that the woman is not as stable as perhaps she should be.

Rio takes too long to get up for one hotel guest’s liking so the guest cruelly steps on Rio’s tail and sends Rio squealing down the hall. This is a brief scene but maybe be upsetting to people sensitive to sounds of animals in pain.

Nell displays increasingly abusive behavior towards the little girl, Bunny—seemingly due to her own upbringing at the hands of overly strict and probably abusive parents. She makes threats and at one point comes close to pushing Bunny out the window. At the climax of the movie, Nell ties up and gags Bunny. But the girl’s mother bursts into the room at the last moment, followed by Jed, and Bunny is ultimately saved. Earlier in the film, Bunny witnesses Nell attack her uncle Eddie, screams and cries as a result.
