Someone cracks a whip toward some children to drive them away, but it doesn't hit them. The stoning mentioned in other comments is also witnessed by children, which could be disturbing. However, nobody directly harms a child.

Someone does throw a rock at some stray dogs (looks like it doesn't quite hit them, but they yelp and run away)

We see a dead swallow that has been shot. It's only one brief scene near the start of the film.

To punish a woman for wearing "inappropriate" shoes, Taliban soldiers make her stand in the sun, barefoot on the hot pavement, for what seems like a long time. Her feet are hit with a whip when she shifts in discomfort.

The person doesn't directly die by suicide, but they do deliberately sacrifice their own life to save another person.

This movie takes place in Afghanistan under Taliban rule, and has heavy themes of misogyny. Women are obviously subject to harsh restrictions, and they are spoken about in dehumanising terms in many scenes.
