It is implied that children vying to be the company's heirs are killed for failure, and Lisa dies. Lisa's death is a core character motivation for Black Jack.

Old anime, there's a lot of camera flashing in one scene. Be careful if you're photosensitive.

The main antagonist was abused but she does not physically abuse anyone else, and is a decent caretaker for Pinoco. She's not an abuser, just a bit of a bad person.

i saw this question and immediately let out a very loud groan.
This movie has a very strange and almost orientalist depiction of a desert community, leaning a bit toward misrepresentations of middle eastern people. One of the main characters, Eric, is half descended from these people who are known as Sebians. His skin is visibly darker from the other doctors around him, and the movie starts with the implication that he is more rebellious and less trusting than other doctors, but stays with the idea that he is generally in the right. The whole movie feels like its going to get really bad, because its produced by the guy who wrote Kimba The White Lion (which IS really bad), but stays rather passable.
TLDR: This movie feels like its going to be really racist, but just ends up kinda orientalist.

There is a scene where some greedy art collectors with big noses come to buy the painting of a dead artist. It is not stated they are Jewish in any way, but it feels a bit evocative of stereotypes.
