i'd say the death scenes aren't super graphic or anything, but megatron is shown a couple times bloody and battered, and Prowl's death shows his eyes almost melting and smog pouring out his mouth after he was shot

Yes, there is violence and violent people, but that is because it's a WAR with some very violent people involved. So, not DOMESTIC violence. The only time there's really domestic stuff in general is with the Autobots and humans, but they're all pretty okay to each other for the most part.

Their are bugs but they are decepticons known as the insecticons. They are a trio that all have unique bug forms instead of cars or planes. They don’t have major details other then obvious stuff that makes them look like bugs their mostly just robotic

Many autobots and decepticons are killed off in the movie. This was hasbros way of stopping production on the og toys that weren’t selling well anymore and so they could replace them with new toys. If you have a young child watching the 80s tv show I recommend not showing this movie especially if they are attached to characters like Optimus prime or wheel jack etc. Some deaths scene are very fun but very violent for young eyes who may love those characters

Starscream has to shoot his own foot off in order to escape being crushed to death. he is later shown with it regrown (?) which is likely an animation error.
