Yeah, but nothing anywhere near as graphic as the first movie. Everyone just moves to either Heaven or Hell without the impact of an actual death scene.

After entering Red's place in the junkyard, some jack-in-the-box fish and Carface wearing a mask jump out at the camera to scare Itchy.

Not death in the usual sense, as the cat is sent to Hell. There are also dancing cat skeletons as the villain's minions. After the cat is sent to hell Charlie makes a joke about smelling "cat burger". This movie is very anti-cats in general.

The implied deaths of the dogs and cats in Heaven and Hell. As well as offscreen a cat villain eating a rat (with sound).

Itchy enters heaven choking on a chicken bone, holding his throat and making the noises. He coughs it up and is fine (well, he's in heaven, but otherwise fine.) Characters also have smoke blown in their faces causing them to cough a couple times. The main villain uses a magic collar to choke Charlie several times in the last 20 minutes.

David's mother is dead, but that happened before the time this movie's set in. It is talked about briefly by the characters.

Relationship-wise: Some dogs during Sasha's song seem to ignore the girl dogs sitting near them in favor of Sasha (to the girl dogs' annoyance).

In the beginning when Charlie is in heaven, a dog is waiting for his presumed girlfriend, holding a picture of her. She appears and is larger than in the picture, prompting a joke about having gaining weight.
