Most characters do. Outside of the significant amount of recreational drug use, there are also times when drugs (such as Archie) are required to enter into mystical realms.

A main character is raped and it is shown through flashbacks. There's no nudity, but a graphic depiction of the victim's face during the assault.

It happens occasionally, usually for another purpose than to kill themselves but it is still upsetting. Times i remember are the first episode julia cuts into her forearm so she will remember what has happened earlier in the episode. In season 3 e8 a character has to cut into her arm to keep a spell up this is the most graphic because its shown on screen repeatedly and we see many more cuts on her arm. And in season 4 a main character slits her wrists open it is not shown on screen but we see the aftermath and its very bloody. that scene is also shown on the recap the next episode. she has another purpose to her actions but still

Season 1, episode 9, two children die in ghost flashbacks. Fast forward when the woman grabs the boy to drag him to the "quiet place" and when the little girl drinks the tea. Season 2, episode 3, there is a monster that looks like a child. It doesn't show the killing, but it shows the aftermath from far away.

There are a few instances where things happen suddenly which might jumpscare someone. The only example that comes to mind at the moment is when julia and josh travel to timeline 23 and they must search the library for the spell that can kill the beast which 'some stundents' attempted but it got them killed and they have become ghosts. While searching, the ghost of one of said students suddenly appears in front of julia and marina 23 which julia realises is the ghost of eliot (the ghosts are eliot and margo), which is full of blood and looks very creepy as it appears (if i remember correctly he was smiling)

In season 1 episode 11 suicide is discussed, then a character is shown shooting himself. It is quick and unexpected. There is also an on-screen suicide in 3x11. In 4x04 a character is interrupted before an attempt.

Not that I've noticed, but there is mention of "eugenics" books destroying a "Jewish" author's book in the school's library and having to be locked up in a restricted section afterward. (The books are alive) I assume it was more a dig at the antisemitics.

Margo at one point makes a fat joke, but it is not in reference to a particular character. There have been no plus-size main characters that I've seen. The joke is in season 2, episode 3 and is made to Quentin while he is aiming an arrow. He does give a chiding look.

This show has a lot of sexual content. I will return with more instances, but I would not watch if you are a minor or around children. Or if sexual content is triggering. There is also sexual assault, and a lot of talk about sexual assault. There are also many sexual innuendos and jokes.

In season 1, episode twelve, there is a scene where the main characters are attempting to sneak through somewhere they shouldn't be, and they are found. Margo pulls out a gun and shoots the person that found them. In season 3, episode 13, the main characters are in a castle that is home to a god-like monster, and Eliot attempts to kill it using a god-killing bullet, but instead it leaves the body it was in and possesses another person.
