Seconding a previous posters comment: the family dog you see over and over again in the movie is just fine, it doesn't die. But there's a detailed shot of a living room with the taxidermied heads of many family dogs, visible for about 60 seconds, it's presented as a way a family of sports hunters have preserved their family pets.
The family dog whines sometimes, because he is not getting the attention he wants or to be where the family is, and once during a hail storm. Pretty normal level of whining though, and generally seems like a happy dog despite this.
A mother loses her temper and slaps her child, but immediately apologizes. The father is not invested in his children but treats them well when he's around them.
Two hospital scenes, in fact. One in which no medical procedures happen, and other one which is quite long and goes in detail (though not censurable detail) in the delivery rooms.
The main character goes into labour slightly early due to stressful events happening around her. She makes it to the hospital where she eventually delivers a stillborn child. This whole sequence of events is quite extended and graphic, and very likely to be upsetting for those who have triggers around child birth, pregnancy loss or the death of a child.
There are people who are shot and beaten in one short scene during a student protest. Though you see very little of the blood/violence - you do see the shootings/beatings happen, and there are a couple of presumably dead bodies that you see quite clearly.
No one drowns but there is a scare near the end when two kids are in the water and the protagonist must rescue them even though she doesn’t know how to swim
