in my opinion, im pretty sure it was implied with shigemori? since in ringu 1995, shigemori was a total creep towards sadako and hes still a little creepy in this film! i think its implied due to sadako saying how she cant remember what happened when shigemori came over that night to her place.

sadako and her father have a fight in this movie before her father kills her, sadako being 19. theres also 2 seperate versions of sadako, one being 8 and the other 19, the 8 year old sadako is kept in a room away from the world while her father gives her drugs to stop her from growing or getting bigger

its not really excessive but near to the end of the movie theres gore where we can see 2 women have shot themselves and thats gorey, theres also a lot of blood and fighting in this film

yes and no, sadakos younger version (since theres 2 sadakos in this film), is kept in a small locked room by her father and her father gives her drugs to stop her growing! not sure if this would count as torture but it counts as child neglect too. theres also a scene where sadako is beat to death, she doesnt die though.
