No explicit hate speech but very over the top and inaccurate stereotypical depictions of Indigenous Pacific Islanders, who have ritual ceremonies, whoop, and wear headdresses and war paint. The main plot point is that Joe has to jump in the volcano as a human sacrifice because they think a fire god called the "Waponi Woo" is going to kill them. In the end it does and they all die (not onscreen, we just see the island sinking). Joe says he and the woman "got lucky" for surviving and doesn't seem upset at all. If culturally insensitive depictions of Indigenous people affect you definitely do not watch this movie.
