Having both lost their jobs, two strangers become unlikely friends after a run in with a would be robber, who is actually a hitman with a grudge against the two.
Several sled dogs are seen. They aren't harmed. A character tells another a story that the leader of a survivalist camp once are one of his sled dogs, and they joke about it. However, since the leader is exposed as a fraud, it probably didn't happen.
It's meant to be funny, but to make another character not like violent survival things anymore, a character ties another to a chair and has him pick up a gun and knife he has heated in the fireplace, then a spatula that soaked in ice water.
This might qualify as hate speech. A character wearing a mask and gloves pretends to be black by trying to sound black. Later he says he did it because "we blame everything on the blacks anyway.". At the survival camp, a target practice paper picture is of a black man carrying a boom box.
A character is held at gunpoint in his own home, and later carjacked. People are held at gunpoint during a robvery. A character is tied to a chair in his cabin.
