fate's mom is seriously abusive on screen and some of it might be pretty realistic and upsetting. she emotionally and physically abuses her. timestamps for this are: episode 7, right after the episode partition, 12:51-18:15 (tl;dr for this one: fate's mom rlly wants the jewel seeds "for their purity", aruf is very concerned about fate and fate is being unhealthy); episode 10, when you see the exterior of fate's mom's ship at 4:55-5:39, and fate is gaslit at 9:55-10:57 (when you see fate has a small blanket over her). some information may have been explained in the whipping scene in this episode but it'll be explained again pretty soon.

yes, elementary schoolers are sexualized a lot. check “sexual content” for timestamps on skipable parts. a 16 year old is also drawn in a really sexualized way. both of these things are less bad in every next season until ViVid, and if you really want to watch nanoha but this is too much for you, you can check out the first movie in place of the first season (it still has the gross sexualization but there's a lot less - i put timestamps on the doesthedogdie page for that too. however, the plot is shortened a lot and nanoha herself is pretty character-less)

underage characters are sexualized, especially elementary schoolers. theres two panty shots of a 9 year old in the first episode, the transformations involve barbie doll nudity but include an animation of clothes disappearing first, and a kid is physically abused in an uncomfortable/weirdly sexualized way. timestamps to skip some of the worst scenes are: episode 3, right after the episode partition when nanoha flops down, at 11:40-12:25. episode 5, when you see the girl's bath sign, 5:20-6:55, and then when you see feet running in the bath house, 8:17-8:37. the timestamps for the abuse scenes are in the child abuse question
