When filmmaker Peter Mortimer encounters an elusive young climber named Marc-André Leclerc, an evolution in free solo mountaineering unfolds. Absolutely not recommended for anyone with a fear of falling or heights. There are many, many climbing scenes and the camerawork/narration really highlights how precarious the climber's position is. There are also some scenes where someone is shown falling but they are unharmed. Fatal falls are mentioned but not shown onscreen. For more detail: [SPOILERS] near the end, we learn that Leclerc and a friend died in an accident while climbing (with ropes, not free climbing). Their bodies are never recovered but it's believed that they died in an avalanche, not from a fall.

Near the beginning, someone falls (or maybe lets go) off a climb. He has a parachute but it was startling. There are other more minor falls shown, and there is a constant fear of falling.
