both nate and parker’s backstories have heavy themes of child abuse. nate’s childhood is relatively unexplored until season three, but there are scenes of his father berating him and neglecting him. nate’s abuse is mostly implied, but made fairly clear. parker’s abuse is much more explicit. her first scene contains a flashback to some abuse at the hands of her foster parents (non graphic, verbal), and parker continually displays signs of childhood abuse and makes comments that may be uncomfortable for those sensitive to the topic. parker notably does not have any good parental figures, and those who had a hand in raising her are portrayed as severely unfit. the show runners did a lot of spectacular work with implying significant long term abuse while showing very little visually, and instead showing us through off hand comments and behaviours after the fact, so a warning to anyone who may need it. very little is explicit, but you still learn a lot.

There's a few episode of elliot getting drugged, though he tends to shake it off, an episode wherein appears he's been drugged and kills a guy in that state (it's a con, everyone is fine)
Most significantly is S5 E12 where they spend the whole con repeatedly drugging a guy to mess with his head, it's a very trigger possible episode

Lots of handcuff scenes but most of the cast can pick locks so it's treated like a joke through the series of how quickly they can get out of them and that it's ridiculous people think handcuffs can actually keep them restrained

Parker fakes being a burn victim as part of the escape from the break in. She is not physically disabled, but really plays up a lack of mobility and a decent amount of pain, as part of the con, and acts in overly stereotypical ways re: the disfigurement aspect of a large full body burn scar.

In the Miracle job (season 1 episode 4) a claustiphobic character is in an elevator and has a panic attack and in The Grave Danger Job (season 4 episode 7) a character gets buried alive. A character frequently crawls around in vents but isn't upset about it. there are a couple of episodes that involve characters being underground (in mines) but it isn't distressing for any character

She does scare him by telling him the harness she designed herself has not been tested yet, right before she pushes him, but Parker knows her ropes and knows they are properly secured and safe, and explains the safety mechanisms on the harness to him before.

Sophie and Nate start an argument with each other as a distraction for the heist.

There is a quick scene of a baby (at the end of the episode) participating in a church event. it is very quick and easy to skip. The baby doesn't cry in the scene

A thin character is called fat multiple times and she’s very clearly upset about it.

Sailor Bubba is shown making two of the main characters feel uncomfortable but that's about it.

Parker has fake burn scars, a crutch, and a leg brace temporarily as a con to escape after the first break in. They use the guard’s poor reaction and accuse him of ableism to distract him into leaving them alone. Parker fake cries, makes pain noises, etc. to reinforce the con.

When they meet Sophie, Parker asks if she has a head injury as a reaction to Sophie’s acting skills, with a negative tone that can be read as ableist.

A Jewish family tries to get a painting back that was taken from them during WWII. Anti-Semitism is mentioned, but doesn't occur in the present.

It's mentioned a few times throughout the series (as one of the main characters actually went to seminary school), but the main religion-centric ep is 1.04 The Miracle Job

In the opening scene Perry’s friend accuses him of cheating on his fiancée with a “drunk slutty camel” as a joke. Perry plays into the joke but it is presumably not a true thing that happened

a major element and scene of the episode. the car is electronically hacked (not by the main characters!) and is made to speed up. the driver is unable to brake only steer. there is a minor in the car. the car hits a curb and flips, landing upside down. a bystander grabs an item out of the back of the car and runs, leaving the passengers. a main character helps the passengers out of the car, prioritizing the minor before returning for the adult. once all characters are out of the car and moving away, the car explodes. the driver sustains serious injuries and is in hospital for the duration of the episode. the minor only sustains minor injuries.

several incidents. multiple main characters are hit by vehicles for the sake of the job, but with little harm done to them. several targets/victims and minor characters are also involved in car crashes, usually with minor to moderate injuries afterwards.

A guard is knocked out and left face down in a full sink. It’s brief, but ambiguous in whether they inhale any water.

Corporal Perry is suddenly shot multiple times by military contractors in the opening scene. The clip is replayed during the briefing. There is SFX of heavy gunfire and shouting. Perry is in a rehab facility as a result of the shooting. Guns are used as threats throughout the episode.
