Blue Spring Ride
TV Show • 2014 • Animation
ReportAt the end of her first year of high school, Futaba Yoshioka suddenly has a chance encounter with her first love, Kou Tanaka. Three years ago, he transferred schools before she was able to say how she felt about him. After meeting each other again, Futaba realizes that he has gone through many changes. He acts more cool and even had his last name changed to Mabuchi. Gradually the two rekindle their love while piecing together what had happened in the time that they were apart.

up for debate: one teenage character has feelings for her teacher and whilst he does reject her directly, when talking to other characters he implies that he does reciprocate her feelings and that he’ll be willing to pursue her as soon as he’s no longer her teacher. he also makes competitive remarks to her other love interest about this. he is 25 and she is about 16. and he is portrayed sympathetically but she does end up dating someone her own age

slightly in that this is a romance series about teenagers and they are obviously attracted to each other but there’s nothing graphically sexual at all

not really but in one early chapter/episode the love interest pins the main character down and implies that he could assault her if he wanted to - he’s ostensibly just trying to make a comment about how she shouldn’t be alone around strange guys and has no intention of actually hurting her (and she understands this/isn’t scared) but it’s worth knowing about since it could be triggering and it’s quite abrupt & weird

very very mild sex references and some kissing but nothing worth writing home about, i’d say it’s more or less appropriate for anyone 12+ honestly

later in the manga a character gets hit by a car and is injured but it’s not too graphic, there is a little blood though
