I am emetophobic but I have made great strides so I took myself to this movie knowing it would have a lot of v*mit scenes. I was nervous but for me it was no where near as bad as it has been in the past. for one it being green and only coming from zombies didnt trigger me much. its more triggering for me if it is realistic. still nasty but I was able to watch the whole movie fine:) big win I'm very proud of myself
from what I remember (spoilers)
scene in the desert, when dr. Martins is infected, there is a bit of green spit up in her suit, not major
when Naomi's ex is infected it cuts to him projectile v and its jarring. I think there is a scene of Naomi and Teacake maybe climbing up the ladder? and then it cuts back to the parking lot for the projectile scene. it is short and played for laughs, easy to tell its prob a hose since its shot from the side
when Naomi and Teacake run into Naomi's ex, Mike, he says "open your mouth I wanna throw up in it" which is tbh funny and doesnt happen
when Mike is super bloated and infected and finds the bikers in the TV storage unit he v*mits on all of them and it gets in their mouths, ick, but from then on out I don't recall any more triggering scenes. maybe the final shot, deer v*mits at the camera
There are some flashing images as it shows the passage of time outside the building- starting slow then speeding up. There are hallway lights in the storage unit that come on as they go down hallways, but not flickering or strobing. There's a small amount of flashlights in the dark toward the end. None of it lasts very long and it's not very intense.
There's multiple scenes of the movie shown through the perspective of a body cam. The characters are often running and/or tumbling, so it's quite shakey.
**Trigger warning**
The cats head is half gone from fungus and dies. (Not too sure how since I looked away)
