A lot of the characters on the show frequently gaslight each other. The most significant example is probably Terri’s behaviour.

Quinn is kicked out of her home for being pregnant at 16. There is a line where Blaine implies his father tried to make him straight with hard/"manly" work. Sue Sylvester constantly emotionally and psychologically abuses the children. She later locks two young people in an elevator and refuses to let them out until they resume their romantic relationship. Not "children" exactly but they were 18/19-ish which is close enough for some people, and worth noting. Someone also attempts to frame someone for abuse of an infant so abuse is discussed in some detail. There's also a handful of shitty parents who are neglectful which kind of falls under abuse.

1. A boy is cornered by his bully and forcefully kissed, against his will. Later, the bully threatens to kill him if he tells someone. The bully keeps following him until the boy eventually changes schools.
2. A girl says someone snuck into her tent during a camp and rape/assault is implied.
3. A boy admits he was molested by his babysitter when he was young and people make fun of him for it. A classmate later confides in him that she was molested too.
The last two situations are never referenced again, the first is a big plot point in that season and is referenced in later seasons.

Actor Cory Montheith passed away prior to the fifth season of the show. The third episode, The Quarterback, is a tribut to him/the character Finn. It is extremely emotional, many of the character reactions feel more like actor reactions.

Finn is mentioned throughout the rest of the series.

He doesn’t die, but one of the only black characters does suddenly disappear after S1 and is written off as having transferred schools

Huge plot point of S2 is Kurt’s bullying from Karofsky. Slurs are used a lot, even outside the context of Kurt being bullied.

Two Jewish characters are bullied, though not because they are Jewish. There is no mention of their heritages, or of Judaism. There is also a plotline around a Jewish teenage girl wanting to get plastic surgery to make her nose smaller, but doesn't go through with it.

In either season 2 or 3, Puck comes in dressed in a wig and dress which is played for laughs.

Countless people on countless occasions are insulted based on/in relation to their appearances, ethnicities, sexualities, religions, mental health, emotional states, voices, social statuses, economic statuses, intelligence, physical disabilities, and much more. Sue Sylvester (a major character) in particular is a horrible person (relentlessly harassing marginalized and mentally ill people in ways tailored to their personal insecurities and traumas, admitting to killing homeless people for fun, on countless occasions verbally using past bullying she received for having a sister with down syndrome as an excuse for everything she does, etc.), yet frequently has mini redemption arcs where people temporarily believe she's a good person.

Bullying to Artie because he is in a wheelchair, and some to Becky because of her down syndrome, but with her Cheerios status it doesn’t happen much.

Borderline yeah, in season 3 Artie says that Rachel and Blaine need to lose their virginity and 'grow up' to become the best actor they can be or something along those lines.

yes, puck has relationships with multiple older women while he’s a teenager and they don’t ever address in much detail how creepy it is, and none of the women ever face consequences.

Many times characters make out and the scenes fade to black after the characters agree to have sex. There are many scenes of characters together in bed after having sex. On multiple occasions characters become close to completion (or actually reach completion, on one occasion) from fully clothed sexual activities. Almost every character talks about desiring sex at some point in the show.

In season 6 there are a set of twins repeatedly referred to as “the incest twins” but they are not actually incestuous.

A character's father is depicted in hospital at what could be end-of-life, another character's sister dies of a chronic disability at a younger-than-average age

Bittersweet. One of the main characters dies halfway through the show, and knowing they could've been in the finale is a real gut punch.

In the Season 4 episode Shooting Star, a school shooting situation occurs. It ends up being a false alarm and no one is harmed, but the characters in lock down believe it is real.
