There are several children abused, it’s talked about through the whole episode, and directly before and after one of the times is shown.

not shown but discussed briefly animal testing with cats. mentioned throughout the episode. skip at 9 mins in when they approach him, safe at 9:40. won't miss anything important from the conversation. mentioned again a few minutes later, skip ahead 10-20 secs at 11:28 when Lilly says "it was worth a try." skip ahead 10secs at 15:40 when he gets up and mentions the bars on the windows, shown (description below). skip at 17:45 when he says "you can't keep me here," safe at 18:13

[potential trigger]

he talks about using cats for research/testing and sees them as "subhuman," being willing to harm/kill them "if necessary." second time Lilly says "he tortures cats for a living." third time he kicks the cat and they yelp. fourth time mentions of torturing animals (cats) but no descriptions

The season 2 episode named ravaged really bugged me as an animal lover It has a dog that is hurt in a dogfight and a guy trying to kill him for loosing. The poor dog is really abused in this episode

multiple already dead pigs, most cut open in a type of butcher shop. in my opinion, not graphic and they look very fake, but skip if it bothers you. during the interview there's more pigs in the background and he picks up multiple and puts them on the table. also a mention of a dog dead he may have killed.

skip at 13:15 when Scotty says "this is it" until 14:50 for the flashback. skip again when the thief takes the car at 15:40 until 16:05 when they leave.

won't miss too much if you skip the whole thing, he denies killing Greg and it shows a flashback of him at a gas station getting upset about Y2K gas price gouging and a thief stealing his car

season 2, epsisode 13- around the 16-17 minute mark - 2 teenage dirtbags find an automatic weapon and start shooting at geese nearby. they kill one, and you can see it dead and they hold it up laughing. then you hear a horse in distress further out and they see they have shot the horse and it’s suffering. I fast forwarded here, but I heard them fighting about who was going to kill it.

adding for more specific time: when he is spray painting on the sign up to around 17:55, skip ahead to 19:15-19:20

[potential trigger]

sounds and visual and was unnecessary, one(?) goose that seems to die instantly and a horse that doesn't suffer long. definitely skip if animal death/cruelty is a trigger for you, but there was not any drawn out suffering (imo) as the horse is fairly quickly mercy killed (off screen)

At the end of the episode where you see the actual murder take place, the victim is raped first and it is very uncomfortable to watch.

It is alluded to and threatened throughout the episode, then shown onscreen at the end. A black woman is assaulted by a group of white men because of her race, and this group includes someone she loved and trusted.

A lot of queerphobic hate speech in this episode. While the slurs come from suspects and cops in the past, some of the investigators in the present are also kinda queerphobic.

So many. This episode is all about homophobia, and much of it is set in 1964.

This episode is largely about an underground abortion clinic in the late 60 to early 70s. The illegality and widespread antiabortion beliefs are prominent.
