SPOILERS: whether you consider these things abusive or not, any scenes with children in it that CAN be considered abuse or be triggering to people, I am going to try to mention :)
I think the show in general has outdated/bad/narrow views on child abuse and parenting, whether it's with Cal and his daughter or others. I would avoid this show if you have triggers around child abuse but if not;
S1 EP 1: The teenage boy/ the suspect has jehovah's witnesses as parents. The dad seems emotionally abusive. In a separate scene, Cal Lightman asks a boy who shows up to take his daughter on a date, if he plans to have sex with her.
S1 EP 3: Cal Lightman punishes his daughter after catching her at a party by making her clear up a room in his workplace, he also scolds her lightly in these scenes.
S1 EP 5: Massive TW for child abuse victims. Torres has a history of abuse from her father to the point where she had to have nose surgery to heal. Cal Lightman handles it the worst way you possibility could, he goes right up to her face and says "did your dad used to smack you around?" And then tells her to stop making the case personal. Then at the very end, he "apologises" to her by telling her that her dad made her who she is today, that he gave her a gift and she should be grateful to her dad for physically abusing her.
S1 EP6: A child called Samantha goes missing. Lightman takes a phone call from his daughter in front of the adoptive parents, swearing and screaming screaming the phone to her, calling her a bitch. This is all fake, just to see the parents expressions/reactions.
After this, when Lightman is talking to her adoptive parents on the couch, the mother mentions that she held/restricted samantha during a "tantrum", Samantha then pushed her off and ended up falling into the stove, burning her back.

SPOILERS:
S1 EP1: the word pedophile is used a few times. Its thought that the female teacher had a sexual relationship with the teenage male suspect. A male teacher has a sexual relationship with teenage student and she is pregnant with his child.
S1 EP6: They suddenly cut to a man in the station waiting to be questioned by Lightman. They then say that he was working at a hospital under a fake name and is actually a registered pedophile. The pedophile says he's on a drug that causes erectile disfunction because he doesn't want to hurt anymore children. Then in the scene after this where lightman is waiting in a van and looking for the lost girl (samantha), he says that pedophiles on those pills generally tell the truth.

Rape is mentioned in almost every episode so I wouldn't watch this show if this is a trigger for you.

The person with DID witnesses the murder (not the murderer themselves). The science and psychology are very outdated, with outdated terminology. The actress does a good job potraying each alter, but most are rather 1 dimensional. Also an incredibly horrendous scene where the main character deliberately triggers the system in the most foul way so he can speak to a particular alter.

Would avoid this episode if suicide is a trigger.
The whole episode focuses on suicides, the start of the episode shows a woman climbing over the railings of a bridge and then we see her body fall out of shot but we don't see the fall or landing and her sister's suicide is also mentioned but not seen. A third suicide is mentioned but not seen although there is a photograph shown to Cal of the girl at the train station before she jumped on to the tracks.
Emily mentions a girl in her class committed suicide via a drug overdose.
SPOILER FOR 1X8- We also see an interview with Cal's mother in which she was trying to get a pass to go home for the weekend from the ward, the pass was granted and she committed suicide. We find out this is why Lightman began studying micro-expressions in the first place.
