There is a decapitated lizard in episode 2, its body is shown around the 32 min mark, skip ahead to 33:30 or so. In ep 4, another dear iguana is shown about 15 minutes in.

There’s a dead lizard in episode 2…you don’t see it happen or anything but it’s clear it did not die of natural causes. And in episode 4, around the 15-minute mark, another dead iguana is shown.

In the finale, right after Nick Offerman’s character and Baltasar remark that there are eggs in the cave, look away. Huge yellow python, you can hear the slither. Lasts a full minute or so, and you can hear when it’s over because the scene cuts back to Emma and Noah.

Not only is there a lot of alcohol, one character drinks despite having a head injury and while taking pain medication. One character expresses concern and the character with the head injury doesn't care

She agrees to it but she has to have a tooth pulled without anesthesia. She's held down and screams

She breaks off half of a tooth in the beginning of the series and it gets infected in episode 7 and is pulled out without anesthesia. It's very painful and she bleeds from the mouth

Emma has her tooth pulled out by her husband in the jungle and when she sits up to say it worked, a lot of bloody chunks fall down her chin.

Not buried alive, but there is a very claustrophobic scene in the finale episode where a character is stuck in a cave. She hyperventilates and struggles to breathe and it feels related enough to mention.

In S01E05 Sam and Violet are held hostage by another character who then leaves and they follow him. The resulting situation bears some characteristics of kidnapping and Sam later describes it as a kidnapping, but it's hard to say. Their captor is threatening and unpredictable, but does not physically restrain them or harm them. It may not strictly be a kidnapping, but could definitely still be triggering.

First episode Emma takes a shower. Super brief scene and it only shows her from the shoulders up.

One of the main characters’ mother dies of cancer. Not on screen, she is deceased already at the start. Her widow describes her diagnosis, frailty and death a bit in the finale in the cave.

There are a few scenes in the second half of the season that briefly show main characters in a hospital. It does not show them receiving treatment/care, just in a bed wearing a hospital gown. Very brief and not graphic in any way, but it could be upsetting for someone sensitive to childbirth in a hospital setting.

In the finale, there is a claustrophobic scene of Emma stuck in a cave and she has a panic attack. It was pretty bad, and I’m not even claustrophobic. It made me anxious to hear her breathing.

Emma looks in the mirror in episode 1 and pinches/pushes parts of her body in a way that implies she’s not happy with it

Alex suffers from a mental / metaphysical affliction of “Memory Drain” which he describes as a kind of amnesia. It does turn out to be more metaphysical but he presents as mentally ill. He gets more and more out of hand, killing iguanas, yelling at friends and punches another character.

Emma lost her daughter during childbirth. Some memory of the events within the show. She had a c-section and never got to hold her baby.

No, but worth noting that there is a lesbian character who was disowned (in the past / not shown.)

The teenage girlfriend at the beginning of the show was sexting / having an affair with her professor. It can be presumed there is a large age gap between them. There is one graphic image that was texted but other than that, we don't see the professor.

(MILD SPOILERS) EP 1: texts with a sexual term and a picture of a man’s genitals. EP 2: there’s a text conversation that the main characters think is sexual, but it actually isn’t. There’s a picture of a character’s head wound, which they think is something else. EP 3: two college students make out on the couch/floor while undressing. They strip to their underwear and make out while breathing heavily until they hear something and run

Not specifically, but there is a lot about a character who's suffering extreme memory loss and other such symptoms which could be linked to dementia or Alzheimer's.

There is a red/orange flare gun near the end of episode 8, but no gun violence that I recall.

There is a scene near the end of S01E07 in which a main character has her tooth pulled without anesthesia. There is blood and screaming, and it will likely be extra disturbing for people sensitive to dental trauma.
