There are neglected children in every episode which Jo has to fix, there's lots of episodes where Jo has to stop parents from mentally or physically abusing their children. In every episode, siblings physically hurt each other. In some episodes, eldest children (as young as 8) are forced to take care of younger siblings. In some episodes, young girls are slut shamed by parents.
