Notes in order by series:
• S1E1 is safe. There may be scenes in other episodes of S1, but I watched it a while ago before making this comment and don't remember if there were any v* scenes.
• S2E2 - NOT safe! Audio only, happens suddenly just after Vera introduces herself to Simon on the phone. It's over quickly and only happens that one time.
• S3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 12, 13, and 14 are safe (see notes on scenes where it seems like something is about to happen but doesn't in S7, 8, 10, & 12 below though)
• S7E1 - safe! There's some discussion/concern about seasickness in the beginning but no one actually v*
• S7E3 - safe! There's a drunk man found in the bathroom next to the toilet. No v* is seen or inferred. There are blood streaks on the wall and toilet seat but those seem to have come from body wounds, not v*.
• S8E1 - safe! Vera looks queasy in the beginning but never actually v*.
• S8E3 - safe! A man refers to the time at the end of a night drinking as "t* u* time" in conversation.
• S9E2 - NOT safe! (1) Vera walks into a men's restroom at the bar and a man is coughing with his back to her. It stops there though, he doesn't get s*. After he coughs, he leaves the restroom. (2) When DS Healy chases the man up his house stairs, the man runs into the bathroom where he's trying to get rid of drugs in a disgusting toilet. Healy reaches into it so it's on screen for a little while. I didn't look to see the exact contents but it was unpleasant. (3) After that bathroom scene, the police are in the living room where two young women are laying on couches seemingly high or drunk -- one has a bucket on the ground next to where she's laying but nothing happens or is seen. (4) Shortly after Vera yells, "Get that door open!", the drug addicted man is shown in a chair with v* on his face. No v* audio.
• S9E4 - safe! During an interview, a man says the word v* when recounting a past incident, but there are no scenes with audio or visual.
• S10E2 - safe! Vera asks the girlfriend if she's going to be s*, but she's just overwhelmed and nothing happens.
• S11E2 - NOT safe! in the intro scene, the young man retches after finding the body. No visual as far as I could tell (I looked away briefly)
• S11E3 - safe! The NCA cop gags when she sees the dead body but there's no v*
• S11E4 - safe! Husband puts a hand to his mouth and appears to gag when he's at the morgue for the body identification. He moves away and off screen, but there's no further visual and no audio.
• S12E2 - safe! Tony says, "I need the bog," with his hand over his mouth shortly into the conversation in the library. He runs away off scene and there's a mention of s* but then Vera & Aiden realize it was a ruse so that Tony could run away. So no audio or visual.
