Clean Break is a drama series commissioned by RTÉ One and produced by Octagon Films.
Frank is a car dealer running out of fiscal rope. He kidnaps the local bank manager’s family, which gets him into serious trouble.
Though one character does cling to another and roughly kiss their neck. Your mileage may vary with that. That said, the character they kiss doesn't seem upset by it.
One character is very emotionally abusive/neglectful of his wife and incredibly cold to his adopted daughter. The fact she's adopted is something he brings up several times in a negative way.
The most extreme comes from episode 4 where a man is beaten to death (you don't see the act but you do see plenty of blood) and from a few clips of a zombie movie that two characters watch.
However, a child is burned really badly near the end of episode 3 and the scene is incredibly graphic. This happens right after (small spoiler) the cabin catches on fire. Fast-forward to the end of the episode. You won't be missing anything important if you do.
You'll also see him in a hospital bed with the injuries at the start of episode 4. Fast-forward right after the girl kisses her ex-boyfriend on the cheek and leaves the room.
A teen girl starts seeing another boy without telling the boy she's with, but tells him soon after the fact. Her ex's jealousy is a big part of the plot.
