After 19 years on Death Row for the rape and murder of his teenage girlfriend, Daniel Holden is going home. His conviction has been vacated due to new DNA evidence. Now he has to return to a world he no longer knows and his reentry into the outside world may be as unforgiving as prison. Daniel is haunted by the past, dogged by the present, and uncertain of the future. As he struggles to adapt to his new life, his homecoming reignites the fears of a small town and threatens to shatter his family’s fragile peace. Daniel’s alleged crime divided a community. Will his freedom tear it in half?

You see one of the men who raped/murdered Hanna Dean commit suicide, it's a very graphic scene. You also see Daniel being beaten up badly, to the point he's in a coma. Both of those scenes are in season 1.
In some of the prison flashbacks, you see a death-row prisoner banging his head against the glass window, which becomes bloody. Then in another scene you see Daniel being taken to the prison hospital after being stabbed in the leg by his death-row cell neighbour/rapist, also bloody. These scenes are scattered throughout the series.
Teddy also accidentally shoots himself in the leg and you do see the wound and blood. This scene is in season 4, episode 6.

After Daniel gets out of his prison he goes on a bit of a bender, partying and having sex with random women in the town, however you don't see the sex scenes. You see Teddy and his wife, Tawney, having awkward sex in one episode in season 1. You see Amantha giving a blow job (or about too) to her boyfriend, Jon. Other than that, most sex is shown about to happen, after it happened or it was mentioned.

Teddy accidentally shoots himself. While drunk he tries to shoot the inflatable dancing man but misses multiple times. He then decides to shoot the metal area that helps inflate the inflatable, when he shoots the bullet ricochets off of the metal side and hits Teddy in the leg.
