Character 2, who is romantically interested in Character 1, asks Character 3 to change her sex back to female. Character 3 gets out a pair of scissors and says, "I could cut it off." Character 2 rejects this offer. Later in the episode, Character 2 states that he loves Character 1 so much that he would become a girl for her.
