Wouldn't say it's excessive but there is 100% gore.
Ex: Someone is forced to bite their fingernails off, someone mutilates their own eye, aftermath of someone being shot, theres also a scene of blood pouring down someone's face. (not exactly gore, but it might be disturbing to some.) That's all I can think of at the moment but there is most likely more.
