In S1E14-15, Jordan is kidnapped by Tal-Rho and forcibly implanted with Tal’s father’s consciousness. This is extremely traumatic for Jordan but his family saves him. The villainous consciousness also attacks and chokes Jonathan until Jordan regains control of his body. In S2E2, Tal physically fights Jordan and gains the upper hand, choking him, before Clark stops him. There are also a few flashbacks in various episodes to Tal’s childhood where we see his father was abusive to him.
