Four women juggle love, careers, and parenthood. They support, challenge, and try not to judge each other as life throws them curveballs. Whether it is an identity crisis, a huge job opportunity, postpartum depression, or an unplanned pregnancy – they face both the good and bad with grace and humour.
This tv show contains 43 potentially triggering events.
In season 1, ep. 4 and 5 the storyline is about a mother pushing her (adult) daughter to put her dog down. The daughter is shown going to the vet and coming home without the dog. However at the end of ep. 5 we find that one of her colleague adopted the dog.
tl;dr: No doggy death but v. stressful.
One character is bi or pan, and is dating other people while dating one of the main characters, which she is unaware of. I wouldn't call it cheating, because they hadn't decided to be exclusive, but she is definitely bothered to find out he's seeing other people.
One of the main characters has a daughter who dates a manipulative jerk in S5; said jerk gaslights the daughter (and her father) after he breaks up with her
I don’t know exactly if this fits into the category but when Brad puts Anne under hypnotism he says extremely inappropriate things to her and it is definitely at least sexual harassment. This is shown to have a big effect on her.
No on-screen deaths, some characters do die though. In Season 5 a character falls through a window, we see them go through the window, but we never see the body.
s6 last few episodes one of the children seems to start seeing something (not declared if a ghost or imaginary friend), in ep 10 (s6) the ladies go to a haunted house but see no ghosts or any paranormal activity (apart from one door closing by itself) - all through those one of the main character is talking about whether ghosts exist or not
Season 6 one of the main character's husband has a biking accident, there is a very brief scene of him and the family in the hospital; his injuries are minimal + a testicular tear
Not necessarily slurs, but there are several uncomfortable homophobic moments/comments made by a character who is shown to be closed-minded and in the wrong
tl;dr: No doggy death but v. stressful.
