Depending on interpretation of characters finding something on someone's phone, one character may be a pedophile. It also may have been something else found on their phone since it isn't explicitly called out what it is beyond "illegal" and other characters expressing disgust. Not shown on screen and not clear on what it was.

The seal is at about 11 mins and 20 seconds in. It's not in the water, the seal's on land. The scene starts with a woman on the deck of the facility looking out into the dark The squealing goes on for almost two minutes. She has a conversation with a male character next to the lost seal as it's squealing talking about how they aren't allowed to help it. The woman walks off anf it then jumps to 6 months later. At about 30 mins the Maggie in her hospital bed says, "we were burying the seal. That's when it all started," or something to that effect. The seal is not the next scene. If you don't want to see the seal, you can keep watching until about 38:40 when you see a man digging a hole in the ice with the dead seal next to him. Presumably, that's the burial. That's the end of it.
