Since the dance training camp takes place in the woods, bugs are sometimes seen and heard in the background. The only obvious inclusion of a bug is when a male dancer steps off the bus in the woods and he ducks away from and shoos away a bug.

It's not technically gaslighting, though it's worth mentioning that the main character hides from the other dancers who her sister is until near the end of the movie, a fact that the movie viewers and dance instructor characters know from the start.

It is unclear what exactly the injury is, but a dancer lands wrong on a jump, clutches his leg, and is told it'll take a long time to recover; this happens after the ballet dance instructor orders a dancer not to do a jump, and he tries it several times anyways.

There are no hospital scenes, though there is a mention of a dancer being in the hospital after getting injured (see the 'does someone break a bone' section).

There is no body dysmorphia, though it's worth mentioning that the main character mentions several times that she feels selfconscious that she doesn't look like a traditional ballerina.

There are no mentions or depictions of eating disorders, but several ballerinas are so thin and slender that their bones are constantly prominent, especially during the frequent dance moves that jut out and empathize their ribs.

The camera is hand held, so it very subtly shakes throughout the movie.

The ballet instructor at the camp is discussed to have suffered an injury 15 years ago that ended her dance career and often requires her to walk with a cane; the main character tells her to "get over it."
