It's theorized at one point that Hyde is Jekyll's illegitimate child, but otherwise, no one has sex and there are no further implications.

In older versions, the word "f*ggot" is used in its archaic meaning, ie. a bundle of sticks, but it's also a metaphor referring to two men. The word "queer" is used, also, but YMMV on that one.

The story was written in 1886 and is set in Victorian London; expect lots of talk of 'madness'. This story is also often argued to be the origin of the 'split personality' and/or 'violent alter' trope, which many real people with dissociative identity disorder have spoken against, although it is explicitly stated in this book that Hyde is not a separate person from Jekyll and is merely an alias.

Not unless you count Jekyll getting 'stuck' as Hyde, which causes him noticeable distress, but it's implied that this upsets Jekyll for other reasons.

No; unlike most adaptations based on this book, it's outright stated that Hyde is not a separate person, but merely Jekyll's alias. However, Jekyll gets 'stuck' as Hyde in a way that, if possession is a trigger for you, might set you off.

Some fans ship Jekyll and Hyde, but seeing as in this story, they're the same person, they don't count. Your mileage may vary for the adaptations, though.

Jekyll kills himself at the end of the book. This is really no longer even a spoiler; it's in every adaptation and the book has been published for over a century.

The way Jekyll describes his first transformation can come off as him having a panic attack, or at the very least sounds similar.
